This project focused on the rebranding of a selected local winery, Gloria Ferrer. Located in the wine country of Sonoma, this contemporary brand inspired some of the elements used in the updated designs while still keeping the history of how this winery came to be. Traditional arches and serif fonts were used to reflect the motifs of Gloria Ferrer's original roots tied to Catalonia. Dark colors were mixed with sophisticated silver, metallic flourishes and modern typography to create a design fit for both traditional existing consumers as well as a more youthful audience. The location, architectural landscape, and culture of the brand served as the main inspiration for the design.
